Our Story

In the spring of 2019, God had transitioned Pastor Fermin and his wife Desirae from the only church they ever knew. Over the next few months, God revealed their next step would be to plant a church. In the fall of that year they established a core group, became a part of the Lubbock Baptist Association and were on their way.

Planting a church during COVID can only be a God divine plan. Over the next year the church took on many different forms as they met regularly, served in the community and followed God’s direction for a place to call home. In the fall of 2021, Lubbock Impact became home and the church officially launched in April 2022.
